I was itching to do up a cute, rockabilly-inspired dress for my baby daughter, and this What’s Cookin’? by RJR fabric definitely fit the bill!
I used a vintage pattern, Style 3271, however this type of baby dress really is the quintessential baby dress. There’s been a ton of patterns in this basic style put out for baby girls from about the 40s to the 90s.
Here’s the finished dress:
And here’s my daughter modelling it – she seems pretty pleased with her pretty new dress!
